Help spruce up the Novi Road Cemetery
Cemetery Clean-Up Day, 9-11am on Saturday, June 4
The historic Novi Road Cemetery is in need of some TLC as summer approaches, and we are looking for residents to lend a helping hand.

Volunteering your time to trim shrubs and trees, pull weeds and plant flowers is great way to honor our deceased soldiers

The annual Cemetery Clean-Up Day is this Saturday, June 4, from 9-11am at the Novi Road Cemetery, between Grand River and 10 Mile. Many veterans are buried at the cemetery, including those who served in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War and World War I and II.

Volunteers are asked to park in the parking lots on the east side of Novi Road and walk across the street to the cemetery. There will be no on-site parking and no restrooms.

All volunteers will receive a T-shirt for participating. For more information or to be come a park partner, call 248.567.0316.
