Our hearts go out to John and Tany Bequer who lost their mother, Dr. Marta Bequer on Monday, June 13, 2016, due to heart surgery complications. We all know how proud they were of their mother's accomplishments and how she played a significant role in educating children. Dr. Bequer was a retired Miami-Dade County Public Schools administrator who served as principal of Southside Elementary, Shenandoah Middle, and West Miami Middle Schools. Dr. Bequer also worked as an Administrative Assistant to the late former Superintendent Johnny Jones. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bequer family at this time.
A wake will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 12:00am on 9800 Coral Way. Mass will be 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at St. Peter and Paul Church, located at 900 SW 26 Road in Miami, Florida. Interment will follow at Memorial Park, 6200 SW 77th Avenue in Miami, Florida.
