Urban Stormwater Basins - Part 3:  Restoration & Rejuvenation

It's difficult at times to admit it, but sometimes your stormwater basin is "too far gone." Unsightly and potentially unsafe, these basins can be costly to restore, which argues for the need to establish a proactive basin assessment and maintenance program. Without that, any number of untreated conditions - prolonged water draw down, blocked outlets, eroded shorelines, algae blooms, putrid odors, etc. - can result in a basin that demands restoration efforts.

Basin Restoration requires assessment, design and construction to address the problems, not just the symptoms.
