Today, Infolinx announced the Q3 availability of the Infolinx WEB, SharePoint integrated solution. Compatible with SharePoint 2007/2010, the integrated solution provides federated searching capability in conjunction with enterprise class physical records management functionality. Available as part of the version 3.3 release of Infolinx WEB, this latest ECM integration continues the organization's emphasis on, and promotion of Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles® (GARP®).
As organizations continue the steady shift from paper to electronic based records, translation of their corresponding paper-centric policies surrounding the life-cycle of these records can present significant challenges. Add to this the increased risk of legal exposure stemming from regulatory and compliance issues, and the need for well-integrated records management systems becomes apparent.
