Since its introduction in 2011, Microsoft' s Office 365 "software plus services" offering has received much attention - and caused a lot of confusion. Some believe that Office 365 is a rebranded version of Microsoft Office; some believe that it is only a Cloud-based solution; and some think that it is available only for very large organizations. In this article, we will attempt to define and describe Office 365 and help you understand the value proposition that this unique offering provides to businesses of all sizes.

Because so much of the content that businesses create and store is now in electronic form, the Portable Document Format (PDF) file format has become extremely important. You can choose from a number of PDF tools to read, comment upon, secure, and edit PDFs. Some of the more well-known players in this software space are Nitro PDF, Nuance PDF Converter, and ABBYY. The most highly used PDF applications, however, are from Adobe and include Adobe Reader, Acrobat Standard, and Acrobat Pro.

Thomson Reuters Kicks Off Partner Summit Series | |
The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters kicked off its sixth annual Partner Summit series earlier this month, holding the first Partner Summit of 2013 in Houston, Texas. The two-day strategic planning event is aimed at principals from tax and accounting firms nationwide. The Houston event will be followed over the next several months by Partner Summits in Phoenix, New Orleans, St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Atlanta.

K2 Enterprises has announced that its YouTube channel has received over 200,000 views, as of May 21, 2013. The channel contains video tips on a variety of topics including Excel, QuickBooks, PDF documents, Windows, iPads, and more. New tips are added on a monthly basis and anyone may access the content at no charge by visiting www.youtube.com and searching for "K2 Enterprises." Additionally, those who subscribe to the channel - also available at no charge - receive the added benefit of being alerted whenever new content is posted.
