Each May on Mother's Day weekend, we open our shop to you so you can get an up close and personal look into what we do behind the scenes. NC will start to Tax Labor Sales on March 1st
If you have been thinking about having work done, now is the time to do it. Starting on March 1, 2016 there will be sales tax charged on all installations, as mandated by the state of North Carolina. "The general State and applicable local and transit rates of sales and use tax apply to the sales price of or the gross receipts derived from repair, maintenance, and installation services. The tax on repair, maintenance, and installation services applies to sales occurring on or after March 1, 2016 and to gross receipts derived from such services provided on or after that date."

Be warned, though. The sound from the straight pipes is not for the faint of heart, small children, or small pets, and there are no "switching options" available with this addition. Scared? Take a step back to the head-turning, yet sophisticated SwitchPath™ Exhaust. Under part throttle and idle, valves keep the sound tame and drone free. To the untrained eye, many intercooler designs appear the same. However, effectiveness of the system and overall performance are greatly determined by several key metrics. Alloy selection, end tank design, construction type, fin style, fin density and overall core dimensions must be analyzed and balanced accordingly to deliver class-leading performance. While the OEM's goal is to create a lightweight, easy to manufacture and inexpensive to produce, cross-platform design capable of supporting factory power levels, APR's intercooler must be capable of supporting more than double the factory output. Having the ability to design, engineer, manufacture and finish their own wheels, COR Wheels has an edge that competitors envy. With all of this freedom, comes great responsibility, so the guys at COR Wheels felt a need to develop a design that would be a direct fit (pun intended) for the classic resto-mod niche that desperately needs attention. Introducing the COR "RS", short for Rally Sport in the spirit of the the theme. The NEW RS is available in diameters from 18' to 24' in a Super concave version and up to 26' in a more classic profile version. The timeless 5 star design is accentuated by a pocketed center spoke accent that looks great and lightens any unnecessary weight from the design. The wheel may be purchased with either visible or hidden hardware assembly fasteners in a multitude of in-house powder coated finishes. Beyern Aviatic
It almost seems that Beyern Wheels' new Aviatic model could be meant for no other vehicle than the Ultimate Driving Machine. Focused strictly on BMW vehicles, it was inevitable that our designers would internalize that totally Germanic design canon to such a degree. The Aviatic, with its air of aircraft-like precision, simplicity, strength and elegance, is perhaps the ultimate in BMW wheels. Because most BMW owners replacing stock wheels prefer to upsize, Aviatic sizes, in addition to 17x8, include 18, 19 and 20- inch diameters. And in each of those larger diameters, two widths are available, one a full inch to inch and a half wider than the other. This facilitates opting for a staggered fitment, with wider tires and wheels on the rear axle for improved acceleration, braking and cornering. This classic BMW rims are available in innovative gunmetal with a gloss black lip or in more traditional silver with a mirror cut face.

Maserati Ghibli with 22" Vossen VFS2 Wheels
This 2016 Maserati Ghibli had less than 30 miles on the odometer before being upgraded by GMP Performance. The plus size wheel and tire package. 1.5" lowering bringing the Ghibli closer to the ground. An ECU reprogram squeezes an additional 110hp and 88 ft/lb at 4,000 rpm from the stock twin turbo 3.0L V6. The exhaust system that adds a noticeable yet civilized grumble worthy of a Maserati. Another incredible build we were honored to have pass through our shop was this Ferrari 458. With an Innotech exhaust system, Novitec lowering springs, 1016 Industries tune, ADV5 MV.1 SL 20"/21" wheels wrapped in a set of Pirelli tires, this Ferrari then added window tint, a carbon wrapped roof and mirror set, and full black chrome wrap for the most show stopping Italian we've ever seen. Range Rover Evoque with Hamann WB Kit
This Range Rover Evoque was shipped to GMP for some serious upgrades. Looking to Hamann for the style revamp, we installed a complete Hamann Widebody Kit, along with a set of 22" Hamann Anniversary EVO Wheels. Not content to do this big of a visual upgrade and leave performance to fend for itself, we added an ETG Performance software upgrade to give this Evoque some extra power. Details

Ford Mustang with Forgeline Wheels
Every now and then, the vehicles that pass through our shop door aren't as German as others. With a set of brand new Mustang wheels we had for sale, we were on the hunt for a Ford ready to fire up its style.
