New Assistant Operations Manager
Michael "Mac" Bourcier joined us as an Inventory Specialist and after a short time, has become influential in many of the processes within our company. He has worked directly with customers, vendors and our accounting department to streamline order processes. At the end of 2015, we were happy to move Mac out of the shipping department and into his new position of Assistant Operations Manager where he will continue improving the experience of everyone we deal with. We are proud to have Mac on board looking after our client and vendor relationships

Hunter Engineering In-Ground Alignment Rack
Santa brought us a new Hunter Engineering alignment rack and it has been mounted in-ground for a 100% flush fitment. No car is too low and we can align anything from race cars to stanced cruisers to everyday street commuters! The new rack is Hunter's most advanced alignment rack and syncs directly with our existing Hawk-Eye Elite alignment machine. It features automatically locking/unlocking turn-plates, air inflation stations at each wheel that is recorded on the printout and built-in LED lights that activate once the rack is lifted above 2ft.

NC will start to Tax Labor Sales on March 1st
If you have been thinking about having work done, now is the time to do it. Starting on March 1, 2016 there will be sales tax charged on all installations, as mandated by the state of North Carolina. "The general State and applicable local and transit rates of sales and use tax apply to the sales price of or the gross receipts derived from repair, maintenance, and installation services. The tax on repair, maintenance, and installation services applies to sales occurring on or after March 1, 2016 and to gross receipts derived from such services provided on or after that date."

Open House
Spring is one of our favorite times and it's not just for the beautiful weather or even the many track events we participate in or host. It's because of our open house. Each May on Mother's Day weekend, we open our shop to you so you can get an up close and personal look into what we do behind the scenes. With in-depth demonstrations of services we provide, like mounting and balancing wheels and alignments, each employee of GMP Performance available to speak with, and almost every corner of our shop opened to you, the only way you could get closer would be to work here! After many years of working with various mobile detailers, we have finally decided to launch our own in-house detailing department! We now offer a variety of comprehensive detail packages with a la carte clay bar prep, paint correction and headlight restorations! All products and equipment are chosen with safety and quality in mind. We refrain from using the dangerous chemicals or harmful machines that speed up the job. We use micro-fiber towels, and 100% cotton towels. The polishing machines are renowned in the car detail industry and they strive to have the best equipment for your automobile. Based on the shared platform of the 1-series, the new M235i system uses the existing and well-proven EC-approved cat back system, but with the added optional feature of a new race-spec hi-flow Sports Catalyst that features Milltek's latest Active Valve technology. These intelligent new valves have been designed to seamlessly integrate with the car's central electronics, enabling a more sporty and aggressive tone when either "Sport" or "Sport Plus" modes are selected, but offer a subtle, OEM-style note when the vehicle is left in "Comfort" or "Eco Pro" modes, making for sophisticated and refined cruising comfort, even at high speed.

BMW F8X M3/M4 Burger Tuning S55 Replacement Aluminum Chargepipes
BMW's new S55 motor is a modern marvel but one weakness we've identified are the boost tubes or charge pipes that connect the turbochargers to the intercooler. Made of thin plastic these factory parts are prone to snapping apart where the flange meets the tube, splitting along the length, and/or slipping out of their intercooler couplers. Their BMS S55 replacement chargepipes are made from heavy duty aluminum and are designed with CNC flanges and a protruding lip for a secure OEM like fit. They are finished in a flat black powder coat to match the engine bay and we've also incorporated a pre-capped 1/8" NPT bung in to each pipe. Includes replacement heavy duty couplers, hose clamps, and all hardware required for the installation.

BMW F32/F36 4-Series M-Sport 3D Design Aero Package
With BMW continuing to take a more extroverted approach to the F chassis styling, tuners must exercise caution when designing new components. 3D Design is no stranger to this approach as it is ingrained within their company philosophy. Via a thorough approach to design 3D focuses on all lines to ensure the end result is cohesive with the factory panels. The F32 4-Series is a very special car and 3D Design worked diligently to create a kits that maintained the aggressive spirit of the vehicle. The program offers a front lip spoiler, under splitters, side skirts, roof spoiler, trunk spoiler, and both a dual tip as well as a quad tip carbon fiber rear diffuser.

AMG GT/GTS M178 Weistec Engineering W.3 Turbochargers
The Weistec M177 / M178 W.3 Turbo Upgrade unlocks the true potential of the 4.0 Biturbo engine. Power gains are substantial, especially in the top end. The factory turbocharges are disassembled and fully inspected. The compressor cover and center cartridge are then machined to accept our 5-axis CNC machined 65mm impeller wheel. Externally, no changes are made to maintain a completely stock appearance. The new impeller wheel supports greater power levels than the factory unit with little to no sacrifice in spool and response. The turbochargers are then reassembled with new seals and fully balanced for smooth operation and OEM service life. All the original oil and coolant lines bolt right up making for a simple install.

We eliminated all the serious restrictions on the turbo discharge side, while some company's make only a muffler delete then necks down to the stock plastic pipe 1.5" (38mm) ID and other company's only make a pressure pipe to neck down to the stock turbo outlet 1.6" (40 mm). That's minimal air flow gain compared to the NEUSPEED Discharge Kit.

Having the ability to design, engineer, manufacture and finish their own wheels, COR Wheels has an edge that competitors envy. With all of this freedom, comes great responsibility, so the guys at COR Wheels felt a need to develop a design that would be a direct fit (pun intended) for the classic resto-mod niche that desperately needs attention. Introducing the COR "RS", short for Rally Sport in the spirit of the the theme. The NEW RS is available in diameters from 18' to 24' in a Super concave version and up to 26' in a more classic profile version. The timeless 5 star design is accentuated by a pocketed center spoke accent that looks great and lightens any unnecessary weight from the design. Beyern Aviatic
It almost seems that Beyern Wheels' new Aviatic model could be meant for no other vehicle than the Ultimate Driving Machine. Focused strictly on BMW vehicles, it was inevitable that our designers would internalize that totally Germanic design canon to such a degree. The Aviatic, with its air of aircraft-like precision, simplicity, strength and elegance, is perhaps the ultimate in BMW wheels. Because most BMW owners replacing stock wheels prefer to upsize, Aviatic sizes, in addition to 17x8, include 18, 19 and 20- inch diameters. And in each of those larger diameters, two widths are available, one a full inch to inch and a half wider than the other. This facilitates opting for a staggered fitment, with wider tires and wheels on the rear axle for improved acceleration, braking and cornering. This classic BMW rims are available in innovative gunmetal with a gloss black lip or in more traditional silver with a mirror cut face.

The plus size wheel and tire package. 1.5" lowering bringing the Ghibli closer to the ground. An ECU reprogram squeezes an additional 110hp and 88 ft/lb at 4,000 rpm from the stock twin turbo 3.0L V6. The exhaust system that adds a noticeable yet civilized grumble worthy of a Maserati. With an Innotech exhaust system, Novitec lowering springs, 1016 Industries tune, ADV5 MV.1 SL 20"/21" wheels wrapped in a set of Pirelli tires, this Ferrari then added window tint, a carbon wrapped roof and mirror set, and full black chrome wrap for the most show stopping Italian we've ever seen.
