November's biggest holiday for most Americans is Thanksgiving. For car guys, however, it's the beginning of the month that holds the extra special holiday: the SEMA Auto Show! With manufacturers galore, some of the coolest one off projects on display, and tons of new parts being debuted, it's like Christmas for the automotive enthusiast! Santa's Toy Run
You can feel it. The days are getting shorter, the wind is getting colder, and the stores getting a little more green, red, and white. It's that time of year again, folks. The holidays are almost upon us. GMP Performance is wasting no time when it comes to our favorite part of the holidays: giving back. Each year, we take part in NASA Southeast's Santa's Toy Run toy drive and road race at Road Atlanta. To really maximize our efforts, we're reaching out to all of our awesome friends to help us. GMP Performance Invades SEMA 2015!
When it comes to style, New York can keep its fashion week, because Las Vegas is where it's at! Turning the Las Vegas Convention Center into a giant catwalk for automobiles that seem to have driven straight from our dreams, the SEMA Show is the greatest event of the year. Stephen and Adam had the awesome honor of attending to represent GMP Performance and made sure to take lots of pictures for all the rest of the shop to living vicariously through. With German and European cars galore, plus the chance to meet the amazing people we work with on a daily basis, the experience was one to remember forever. Greenville Euro Auto Festival and GMP's Fall Track Day
Much of October's biggest event took place outside the doors of our Charlotte shop and instead, were held in South Carolina. First, we were part of the awesomely cool Greenville Euro Auto Festival. Then came our annual fall stop to Kershaw at the Carolina Motorsports Park with the Palmetto Motorsports Club for our track day. With the crew up early and excited to get to the fun, we hit the track before the sun had even rose but when it did, the day quickly went from overcast to glorious. Porsches, BMW, Audis, Mercedes, VWs, and even a Fiat 500 all joining in on the track taming, it was another excellent day at CMP in the books.

S3/S6/S7/SQ5 AWE Tuning Electronic Valve Simulators
The AWE Tuning Electronic Valve Simulators for the Audi S3 and Volkswagen Mk7 Golf R with AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust are simple devices that fit right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves, eliminating the generation of a 'soft code'. Sound perfection comes standard thanks to AWE Tuning SwitchPath™ Technology, which utilizes the S3 and Golf R's factory valving. But when it comes to the Track Edition versions of these systems, these valves are eliminated, the ECU stores what is known as a 'soft code' in the system. While this code is not harmful, who wants it? Enter the AWE Tuning Electronic Valve Simulators. These simple devices plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves, and prevent any code from ever being stored in the ECU due to the removal of the exhaust valves. Plug them in. Start it up. Drive away. That simple.

BMW F22 M235i/F22 M-Sport 3D Design Aero Package
With BMW continuing to take a more extroverted approach to the F chassis styling, tuners must exercise caution when designing new components. 3D Design is no stranger to this approach as it is ingrained within their company philosophy. Via a thorough approach to design 3D focuses on all lines to ensure the end result is cohesive with the factory panels. The F22 M235i is a very special car and 3D Design worked diligently to create a kits that maintained the aggressive spirit of the vehicle. The program offers a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, carbon fiber trunk spoiler, and both a factory dual tip as well as a quad tip carbon fiber rear diffuser. The 3D Design interior accessories including the shift knob carry over to the F22 M325i manual transmission.

RENNtech Stage 1 Turbo Upgrade for 45 AMG A Models
The RENNtech performance turbo upgrade is truly the ultimate upgrade for your 45 AMG M133 Turbo! The lightweight forged billet wheel features a dramatically larger than stock impeller and an increase in the turbine trim. The end result is nothing short of spectacular with the RENNtech turbo package making up to an incredible 460 HP and 415 TQ at the crank! More power isn't the only performance benefit as our turbo spools quicker, offer a more responsive throttle and immediate power delivery thanks to a reduction in exhaust back pressure, rolling resistance, higher RPM's and a lighter rotating mass. Prior Design W222 S-Class PD800S Aero Package
Prior Design waits for nothing! As soon as they can get their hands on a new model, you can almost put money on the fact that they will have some new aerodynamic pieces for that same vehicle shortly after, covering bumper to bumper with durable fiber reinforced plastic. That exact process happened with the W222 S-Class. The designers at PD took their penchant for sporty lines that still highlight the elegant but aggressive style of European luxury automobiles and applied it to their PD800s program. The PD800s offers a new front lip splitter with mesh inserts, front fenders, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, rear trunk spoiler, and side skirts, all designed so that the existing aesthetics and features of the vehicles are perfectly integrated into the new kit, to make a statement of unique passion and individuality. Weistec Adjustable Suspension for W205 C63/C63S
Weistec Adjustable Suspension System for the W205 C63 and C63-S converts the front to adjustable coilovers and adds an adjustable perch for the rear. The system features CNC machined billet aluminum construction, anodized and laser engraved with part numbers and directions to simplify installation and adjustment. The adjustable perches feature ball spring set screws that allow you to "count the clicks" while adjusting ride height, making it easier to match side to side ride height adjustments. The adjustable suspension system was designed to allow a wide range of adjustment in ride height, while still being able to maintain proper alignment without the need for special parts or tools. Perfected spring rates, chosen after thousands of miles both street and track testing, improve vehicle handling while height adjustments make for better fitment of aftermarket wheels and a more aggressive stance.

Porsche 996 & 997.1 TT/GT2/GT3//986 & 987 Boxster/Cayman BBi Coil Packs
BBI sought to improve a product that hasn't been explored in the past. They noticed after countless hours of data logging, cars ranging from mild upgrades to heavy modification were running into a similar problem. The problem was the spark was being blown out causing mild to severe misfires. In the past, closing the spark plug gap would be used to Band-Aid this problem. BBI has come up with a permanent solution to this prevalent problem; Plasma Direct coil packs. Their Plasma Direct coil packs have a high power amplifier built into each coil. This technology allows for a 40% increase in spark energy over stock coils. It also generates an ultra-fast, multi-spark discharge of 10 sparks per cycle throughout the entire power. The coil packs will not only increase horsepower and torque throughout the RPM range but also improve spool time on turbo applications while extending the life of your spark plugs.

MK7 GTI/GTD Caractere Aero Kit
Caractère Automobile is a Belgian company whose main activity is the design and marketing of body styling equipment for vehicles of marques belonging to the VAG group. So it was a given that they would be hard at work at a design package worthy of the new MK7 GTI and GTD models the second they were announced. Caractère" products are manufactured in PU RIM from the outset in Germany to ISO 9000, approved by the German TUV. This latter method of manufacture brings a number of advantages, for instance, a very high finish of injection-moulded products, and the rapidity of the rate of production. With several kits available offering different levels of lowering and handling improvement, you can choose the exact style you're looking for with KW. Street Comfort kits are a height adjustable, individual sport suspension option for maximum comfort, offering a lowering rate of 0.2" to 1.4" while the Clubsport, kits designed with the track in mind, offers lowering rates of 0.4" to 1.8" adjustable top mounts coupled with the independently adjustable rebound and compression dampening technology individual set up adjustments according to vehicle load, tire characteristics and different track conditions.

Mercedes C350 with Meisterschaft Exhaust
Not wanting to just be one of the pack, this C350 stopped by the shop for an exhaust upgrade. With the goal of a little more sound but with an OEM look, we found the perfect system to accomplish this in a pair of Meisterschaft mufflers. The system, however, was designed for a sedan only but we're not ones to shy away from a fabrication challenge and with some custom work, made the system fit in nicely. Details

We are huge fans of Porsche here and frequently see many different generations come through these doors. Ferrari 458 Italia with ADV1 Wheels, Girodisc Brakes, 1016 ECU, and more
Freaky fast doesn't only apply to the delivery guys at a sandwich shop; it works for performance builds too! This 458 Italia was built in a mere 48 hours, with 24 of those being spent waiting while all our parts were overnighted. Needless to say, once they arrived, we hit the ground running.
