The arrival of May brought the arrival of our open house and man, we were excited to get it started! With our friends from BF Goodrich, Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, and M7 Tuning set up with booths, parts, and lots of information to share, and a ton of show cars to share with our guests, we were ready to go and it was better than we had even hoped for! The day gifted us with glorious weather, we had a terrific turn out, and we had a tremendous amount of fun with our awesome customers. Aside from the obvious style boost you achieve with a single install, adding visual appeal isn't the only thing Vorsteiner's parts do. Their Autoclaved Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber structure gives their parts superior stiffness, aerospace strength & durability compared to traditional hand laid carbon fiber composites.

AWE Tuning RS7 S-FLO Intake
The AWE Tuning Audi RS7 S-FLO Carbon Intake boasts a fully enclosed carbon fiber air box with inlet, and lid, that has been engineered to mount securely in the stock locations and match up perfectly with factory air inlet pipes. The included AWE Tuning S-FLO Filter is designed specifically for this air box to be easily serviceable and to maximize airflow. This increased air flow unlocked maximum gains of 25hp and 24ft-lbs of torque at the crank. The combination of carbon fiber airbox and included S-FLO Filter makes for a more aggressive intake note, with a distinctive turbo spool sound.

APR Update for the S6/S7 4.0TFSI ECU
Version 1.1 is now available for the S6 and S7 4.0 TFSI offering more power and torque, as well as a smoother, more refined, driving experience. APR's engineers have unlocked 627 ft-lbs of torque and 563 horsepower with this new Stage I ECU Upgrade with as much as 187 ft-lbs and 125 horsepower over stock on 93 octane! Those looking for even more power can use the 100 octane race fuel mode to boost output to 635 ft-lbs and 578 horsepower! The upgrade is offered for free to existing APR ECU Upgrade customers.

Golf R ECU Upgrade from APR
APR's ECU upgrades are one of the best horsepower-per-dollar modifications for the new 2.0T engine. With the ECU Upgrade alone, APR's Calibration Experts measured higher peak figures of 379 ft-lbs of torque and 354 horsepower with 93 AKI octane fuel. Large gains were seen throughout the power band, including an additional 98 ft-lbs of torque and 74 horsepower. Even higher figures were achieved using race fuel. For those looking for a more modest bump in horsepower and torque, lower output software is available. In both cases the increase in horsepower and torque directly translates to an exceptionally quicker vehicle.

MK7 Golf/GTI/Golf R APR Boost Gauge System
With Volkswagen's all turbocharger driven engine lineup gracing the new MK7 platform, APR was presented with the unique opportunity to bring visual excitement and technical awareness to the driving and tuning experience. After conducting extensive design studies and testing multiple revisions, APR has developed an elegant plug-and-play vent-mounted boost gauge system worthy of gracing the interior of Volkswagen's latest models. Visual design cues were borrowed from the MK7 Golf, GTI and Golf R instrument clusters to deliver a dimmable LED backlit face with multiple needle colors that look right at home within the vehicle's interior.

MK7 Golf/GTI APR Carbon Fiber Intake System
The APR Carbon Fiber Intake System is an attractive high performance upgrade for the latest 1.8T and 2.0T engines as found in various MQB platform vehicles. The factory intake design has the foundation for excellent performance, but there is plenty of room for improvement. The APR carbon fiber intake system increases performance by improving mass airflow through the system while still proving adequate filtration. Expect greater horsepower and torque through the power band with a more direct and responsive feel upon pressing the throttle.
