We've been incredibly busy here at GMP Performance. Between new developments and exciting new projects here at our shop, our upcoming track event on March 15th, and our open house on May 10th, we've been keeping ourselves hard at work. We will be making some exciting announcements soon that we can't wait to share with you!

Our track event is just around the corner and we already have some impressive cars lined up to come take part with us. Sessions are still available for registrations but for those not looking to participate, we happily welcome everyone to come spectate! So stop by, say hello, and check out our track Audi!

Another bit of exciting news we have to share is about our open house. While our open house is an annual occurrence, this year, it's rather special to us. We have teamed up with the great people at Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte to have a event with a cause! Girodisc is a brake company dedicated to developing the best quality performance braking components. The Girodisc systems for Audi are direct replacements for the OE disc. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from cast iron to the same specification and material as used by professional racing organizations. It is a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc. Details

HPA celebrates the 10th anniversary of the MK4 R32 with the release of a Grass Roots turbo kit! Built with all the same core hardware as our 500HP system, this new DTM package retains the OEM compression ratio and intake manifold, allowing the builder to roll in and out of the garage in under 10 hours! This kit is completely unique to the Golf R application, sharing no other parts with any other TWINtercooler kit they offer. Due to some unique space constraints of the MK6 Golf R platform, this kit has a unique core, which is slightly thinner than their other cores, but it is also wider and taller, giving it overall more surface area for heat dissipation. Details

Under hard acceleration, the entire engine and transmission rock forward and backward. The motion is limited by factory 'torque arm'. Although the factory arm does buffer the rocking motion for comfort sake, the engine and transmission still move with quite a bit of travel. This movement absorbs much of the torque that the engine produces and furthermore creates a rubbery and vague response in the vehicle powertrain. NEU-F Torque Arm Insert (TAI) goes over the fatory arm and fills the voids on the rubber bushing. BBS's RX-R GOLD line has just gotten cooler, with all new 5x120 bolt fitments available at the end of March. The RX-R is a one piece counter pressure cast wheel with a spun inner rim using BBS Flow Forming Process. The "Flow Forming" process actually changes the mechanical properties of the cast rim area, adding strength, stiffness and impact values closer to that of a forged rim but reducing the weight by up to 15%. Carrying the same concept from NEUSPEED's other wheel lines, the RSe52 features smooth and simple design lines giving the clean but yet complimentary to your European design Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. Each RSe52 is spec-ed specifically for the assigned vehicle, which translates to complete direct bolt-on fitment utilizing factory lug bolts, center caps, as well as tire pressure monitoring sensors  - No spacers, No hub rings!! With a car as cool as an S5, there is very little it needs but that also means that any upgrade is guaranteed to make an impact. One area that makes an large impact is exhaust and this S5 got a great one, courtesy of Akrapovic. The Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system for the Audi S5 offers a power increase in a sleek high-quality stainless steel system. Details

This 335is came to the shop looking to gain a little more hp and to add a slightly wider stance as well. To do this an ESS Tuning ECU "E-Flash", 10 mm and 20 mm H&R spacers were selected to do the job. First on the list was the added power and the ESS Tuning flash does just that to the tune of about 54 added hp for a total of 382hp with stock intercooler. Details

If there's one thing Mercedes like, its more power. Already powerhouses making numbers around 510 HP  and 612 LB-FT out of the factory, this S600 came to us looking for an extra boost to make this monster an absolute beast. With the additional of a simple ECU upgrade, it rolled out with a new 625 HP and 745 LB-FT! Details

Cayennes are some of the sleekest SUVs on the market. When looking to add some extra style, the most popular addition is that of wheels! Fitted with Forgeline SE1 and Continental tires, this Cayenne GTS is now ready to stun. Details

Whether a big job or a small one, it is always awesome to see a Tesla in our shop! This Model S P85 came to us with a damaged tire in need of replacing. It left with a new tires, an alignment and a nitrogen inflation. Details

Double the SUV love this month! This Tiguan came to us for some upgrades, including a Carbonio intake and APR's 2.0 TSI ECU upgrade. Adding a neat boost of power and a smoother intake solution, this VW becomes a better SUV. Details
