2012 Annual Dinner Meeting

  Thank You!

On Thursday, February 23rd The United Way celebrated the end of our 2011-2012 campaign with the Annual Dinner at the Village Square Conference Center. We want to extend our sincere thanks to Village Square Conference Center underwriting the cost of the evening enabling the United Way to raise $2,900 for the campaign.

United Way could not have exceeded the goal of $821,000 this year if it were not for our many friends and supporters in this community. On Thursday, February 23, the last day of campaign,  the campaign was lacking $4,999. An email went out and two and a half hours later, thirty generous donors had called or emailed with donations, providing more than enough to meet our goal. A very special thanks to Rick Rock and the Board of Directors of the North Central WV Airport for their generous donation of $5,000. The electronic billboard located on Rt. 50 says it all, THANK YOU HARRISON COUNTY!
