'GREEKS IN THE ARTS' EVENT BENEFITING PART 3 OF GHS TRILOGY
The Greek Heritage Society of Southern California will present "Celebrating Greeks in the Arts" on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 6:00 PM,
a night of comedy, Rembetika, singing and dancing - presented by Southern California's Best of the Best.
The event will be held at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Los Angeles and includes dinner and silent auction. Award-winning Greek wine and beer will be a highlight of the night. Proceeds will benefit "OPA! Our Promise Ascends 1960 to the Present" (Part 3 of the GHS documentary trilogy).

A WEEKEND OF GREEK MUSIC IN THE CALIFORNIA DESERT
 It is rare that the West Coast ever has the opportunity to host the newest and greatest singers on the pop music scene. Goodtime Events and Global Arts International will present "Bouzoukia in the Desert" with Panos Kiamos on Saturday, November 8 at 7:00 PM.
Kaimos' songs have dominated the radio and sold out the Bouzoukia for the past 5 years.
 Performing with him is the Euro-vision star Eleftheria Eleftheriou.
They will perform at the Agua Caliente Resort, Rancho Mirage, inside the $57 million concert venue,"The Show." Individual seats, tables and Private Sky Box Suites are available.
The weekend includes an exclusive pre-party, to be held Friday evening in the Lounge in Agua Caliente. On Saturday, a Golf Outing at the Indian Wells Golf Course will take place, followed by an afternoon poolside with event producer DJ Gus Sverkos, as well as MELINA FITNESS workout for those who don't want to miss a beat.
