Elias Giannakakis, eliasgiannakakis@hotmail.comUnfortunately horror does not happen only in the movies. At Kalavryta, in Greece, the entire male population over 14 was sternly killed by the Nazis during a terrible December in the year 1943. The survivors have not been happy people from thus on. They've been struggling for 70 years to figure out why that horror happened to them.
Elias Giannakakis is a film director, a screenwriter, and a producer. He has directed more than 100 documentaries and regularly works on the docu-series Paraskinio.

Taylor Gianotas is a film editor, based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Seattle, WA, he graduated from USC's School of Cinematic Arts and has since worked with filmmakers such as Phedon Papamichael, ASC, and Xan Cassavetes. Taylor has been working with LAGFF since 2010. Vanja Srdic is a Los Angeles based director, producer and filmmaker. Srdic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, where he majored in film & TV directing. During his film school days, he founded a independent film, video and web production company. And at the same time, he was deeply engaged in data recovery business as a marketing director. In 2010, Srdic moved to New York continuing his filmmaking experience on various projects as a director, cinematographer, editor and producer. He worked with contemporary artists such as Michael Murphy, Nathan Trice, Peven Everett, and companies like Spike DDB and Clinton Global Initiative. He moved to LA in 2013, where he also works as a project manager, internet marketing consultant and technical director for different production companies and film festivals. Besides his meticulous filmmaking, computer technology and web knowledge, Vanja's biggest passion is music. He is a eclectic music collector, occasional DJ and percussionist, with enormous love for blues, jazz, funk, afrobeat, electronic and world music. Yannis Zafeiriou was born and raised in Athens, Greece. After his university studies in the UK (BA in Advertising & MA in Directing/Producing), he moved back to Athens and worked extensively in Greek media, at different positions and multiple capacities for over a decade. In 2012 Yannis received a Certificate in Cinematography from UCLA Extension in Los Angeles, California where he currently lives and works. His personal directing portfolio has included music videos, documentaries, short films and commercials as well as a 3D animation planetarium show (4K Full Dome) sold around the world. He is currently developing a web series, a food & travel show, his first feature film and several other projects. Fingers crossed.
LAGFF thanks Taylor, Vanja and Yannis for their dedication to this year's
