THE KOLOVOS FAMILY PRESENTS 'THE DAUGHTER'

THE DAUGHTER, Saturday, June 8, 5:45 pm, WGA, Beverly Hills | TICKETS

Tina and George Kolovos have not only supported LAGFF since its very beginnings, they have also presented a number of quality programs such as Thanos Anastopoulos'
THE DAUGHTER, and have repeatedly championed the importance of art, cinema, and culture in our community - and beyond.

CONSUL GENERAL OF GREECE HOSTS MESSENIA-NIGHT PARTY
ORPHEUS/MITSIGAN, Sunday, June 9, 5:00pm, WGA, Beverly Hills | TICKETS
The Closing Night screening will be preceded by a pre-reception and the Orpheus Awards at 5:00 PM. Following this event, across town...

Consul General of Greece Elisabeth Fotiadou has been lending her unique vision and hospitality to LAGFF since she took office in Los Angeles in 2010. Honoring the 'birthplace' of many recent international and local films, such as Kimon Tsakiris' MITSIGAN - HARDSHIPS & BEAUTIES, the Consul General will host a Messenia-themed party at her private residence on Sunday evening. Messenia-style, rare delicacies from this beautiful region will complete the LAGFF experience:  Pork garnished with orange peel, chicken tenders with Messenian noodles, rustic-style lamb with artichokes and potatoes, a meatless monastic recipe served with pearl onions, chestnuts, mushrooms in spiced vinegar and olive oil, octopus with arugula, marinated tilapia in oregano, olive oil, lemon, and collard greens - and more. Costa Navarino Luxury Resort, the party's presenter, will also offer LAGFF patrons the opportunity to sample Messenian local, high quality products such as olives, extra virgin olive oil, eggplant and tomato dips, roasted red peppers and mini green peppers. Finally, an array of Greek wines will be presented by LAGFF sponsor Boutari Wines. This exclusive event is open to Gold Pass-holders only. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit our All-Access GOLD PASS page.
