Meet... Donna Barringer Neighbors!
Donna's warm and inviting approach to teaching ballroom dance at all levels, along with her tremendous experience and talent, make for a must-not-miss evening!
A B.A. graduate of Lynchburg College in Psychology, Donna launched her dancer career with Arthur Murray Dance Studios in 1977, first working in Lynchburg and Roanoke, then in Sarasota, FL where she went independent. Donna returned to Lynchburg in 2000 with the dream of building a dance community in central Virginia. She subsequently built her own lovely 5000 square foot studio facility with a floating white oak floor, VaDance Studio, one block off of the intersection of 221 and 811 in Forest.
Donna competed Pro/Pro and later concentrated on Pro/Am events. Donna is a Nationally Certified Adjudicator through the National Dance Council of America and earned a Licentiate Degree with the North American Dance Teachers Association in the early 1990s.
She teaches both the American and International styles of dance, from beginner to above gold levels.
