It was a cool slightly gloomy January day and I was down at the ponds doing my duck hunting. The northerns had already been in here for a couple of months and had not yet become used to the idea that there were not in danger from humans. I got this shot of a couple of Canvas Backs as they were tumbling in for a landing. The upper one had already touched down and it looked like the lower one was sure trying to get everything in order before he touched down too ... Anyhow it is a fun photo.

Into the weekend and hope if you have time to take a break from your activities come on over and see the presentation that Andrea and I are doing at the Mary D. Fisher theater ... it will be a fun one and lots of great images.

1:30, PM to 3:30PM

Have a joyful day and share it with others

I go out into the night and stretch forth my arms, as

if to embrace one I love

...the solace of the stars is sweet, and the stillness has a voice I understand
