We are still ironing out the details for the program, but we can still give you a overview of what is in store. Classes will include A Keynote Address by Pulitzer Prize Winner, David Turnley; Pro Workshop with Chris Williams: Arial Photography; Lightroom sessions by certified Adobe Instructor and LHSA Member, Bill Royce; Leica on Loan; Annual Trade Fair; Activities for Spouses, Stump the Experts with LHSA Historian Jim Lager and Ed Schartzreich; and much, much more. There is no shortage of photographic opportunities in the nation's capitol. Fall color will just be starting when we're there and can be used to frame many of the buildings and monuments. 
  • Places to see include The White House, the Capital Building, and the Washington monument. Iconic monuments include Jefferson and Lincoln, and more
  • Visit the Holocaust Museum, Smithsonian American Art Museum & National Portrait Gallery, the National Museum of American History
  • While your in Alexandria you can take a Trolley Tour to th eTorpedo Factory Art Center, go to Old Town for Restaurants and shopping.
