* A major force behind passage of the Fair Housing Act of 1968 was the NAACP's Washington director, Clarence Mitchell Jr., who proved so effective in pushing through legislation aiding blacks that he was referred to as the "101st senator."

Fair Park Estates: End of Year Purchases

SouthFair closed on three houses this quarter. We are so very happy to share the great success of our residents that have worked so hard to achieve this accomplishment.

Luiska Harkey first came to SouthFair in the summer 2014. She was ready to purchase in just four short months. Congrats to Ms.  Harkey!

Mr. Kinney and Ms. Williams graduated from SouthFair's rent to own program by purchasing their home in November 2014. They con attest to all of the hard work and dedication it takes to achieve the goal of homeownership. Along with his cousin who purchased a home from SouthFair this summer, Mr. Kinney is now a homeowner in the neighborhood he grew up in.
