Class Highlight of the Week
The Second Grade Class has been on a Safari in the Jungle!
Our journey has brought us through Egypt as we study the  life of Moses. We are learning that just as God had a plan to bring the Israelites to the promised land, he also has a plan for our life. We are learning how to be good listeners in class and to become a "bucket filler" by encouraging our classmates and treating each other kindly. We have been busy learning how to write a letter, practice telling time and  counting money. We are working on our addition and subtraction facts, practicing our reading fluency and having fun while learning about magnets. If you plan on visiting us, be careful, it's a jungle in here!

Student Council (STUCO) Announcements!
Dear Parents,
I am restructuring the Elementary Student Council in order to help them learn and focus on being servant leaders.  I am steering away from President, V. President, etc. and focusing on giving each of them a responsibility within a group and teaching them the value of commitment and follow through with their service.  The students who received the most votes are the group leaders.
