Have you noticed a little a sparkle in the eyes of your faculty and staff?
They are excited about all the new students and the additional educational programs that are coming this year.  We are also curious about which parents will step up and join our efforts in inspiring your children to be the best they can be.  With your help, we are very confident that the following items will be accomplished: gym and cafeteria sound system, gymnasium graphic designs, technology tablets for elementary classrooms, paint/painter for interior and exterior walls, four more security cameras, interior decoration for school office, powder coating middle school desks, grass-field-paint, vinyl promotional banners, car window decals, wall graphics, playground wood chips, amended soil, replace building lights, shade structure for car line and playground sports equipment.

Operation-"Bad guys can't slow us down":  Yes, it is true, our school was burglarized last weekend, so we are adding additional security cameras to prevent theft on our campus.
Our beloved library had $2,500 worth of equipment stolen, including computer equipment and flat screen TV (that was used to project the teacher's desktop while teaching computer class).  Three years ago, we installed 4 cameras to identify and prevent strangers from coming onto campus.  Now that we have added technology into classrooms, to prevent theft, we need to add  four more security cameras.  Do you know someone who can help install cameras?

Operation-"Ambiance and music appreciation": Adding a sound system in gym and cafeteria,  during morning arrival and lunch period, we can introduce quality music into the hearts of our students.
Background music for home games, lunch, pep rallies, and events will add to our school spirit.  In addition, we can use the mics for announcements during lunch and games.  There is school family who will install equipment for no charge, but we are seeking $6,000 for pay for the cost of equipment.

Operation- Can't wait for recess!
Recess encourages play, running, competing and new friendships!  Adding field paint to designate ball fields makes kids want to play more games.
For recess, we have added to our grass field: two baseball fields with Wiffle-ball bats and balls, flag football field with pennies and flags, grass volleyball court and soccer nets.  Kids are having a blast at recess with so many options to play with their friends.  We need field paint to create stripes for lines on field of play.  We need $2,000 for more sports equipment, storage, Frisbee golf, carpet ball, gaga pit, and  field paint to keep lines striped throughout the school year.

Operation- Bless those office ladies! Let's renovate our School Counselor and Financial Director's offices!
Our offices are still wearing the same paint from 2007!  We need an interior designer to bring right color schemes for our school offices!  We are seeking three office desks for three to four locations with some comfortable chairs for our guests.  Can you help?

Operation- Launch independent learners with more technology in the classroom!
We are interested in adding 4 tablets to each classroom in Kindergarten through 8th grade.  10 classes x 4 tablets @ $450/tablet = $18,000

Operation- Powder coat those 1980's Middle School Classroom Desks.
Our desks sure look like they did in the 1980's -but are still serving their purpose.  We would like to powder coat the legs so that they look like new!  Does someone know powder coating company that can help us?

Operation- Playground woodchips & soil amendments

We are adding tumbled/treated wood chips to the playground and adding soil for our play field so that grass will grow better. We are also interested in adding several more trees to surround our grass field.

Operation- Shade structure for car line. Yes we added some temporary umbrellas for the car line but we would like to add some permanent shade structure for our car line pick up area, so that parents and students can be protected from the sun.  This seating area will also provide more shade for students during recess.

Operation- Reduce electrical bill.
We need to replace existing lights with more efficient light bulbs.  We are able to save money on out electrical bill if we reduce energy used to light our classrooms and buildings.

Operation- School Spirit!
We are trying to showcase the exciting programs at WVCS so that our guests who visit our campus cannot miss the talents of your children.  We are also trying to add bumper stickers and car window decals for marketing our school in the community.  Can you refer us to someone who can help us create spirit banners, wall graphics and window decals?
