October Gallery
You have probably heard many fishermen in the Pacific Northwest say they wished October lasted longer than 31 days. These recent photos will give you a good idea why we love this time of year.
The salmon fishing has been excellent this fall with the early rainstorms.
The cutthroat fishing has also been good. Take advantage of this great fall sunshine before the rains return to the coast. October only happens once a year so don't miss out on the next couple weeks. |

Airflo Super-Dri Lines
Airflo has recently come out with their Super-Dri fly lines promising "unparalleled floatation with the ability to repel water, dirt and surface scum better than any material in the history of fly lines." Curt has been fishing the 6wt Super-Dri Elite while chasing sea-run cutthroat over the past month. Curt has used the line casting large October Caddis dry flies as well as heavy nymphing setups. This is what he has to say about the line: " I am very impressed with the line. Right off the bat the first thing you notice is how much smoother it feels in your hand, and the hype about the floatation seems to be real. The line mends very easily, which speaks to the high floatation and the slick hydrophobic coating. The ease of distance casting was also noticeable." The Super-Dri lines are available in multiple tapers and line weights from 3-9. Click here to learn more and purchase online.
