July 27th - At The Bench

Sean Dahlquist will be back for another round of steelhead flies from 10am-1pm.  This one will be strictly focused on Spey and Dee style flies.  These gorgeous flies can be very effective on the river but they also look great on the wall.  Sean will be showing us how to mount these flies in a frame or shadow box.  Many things are said to be "Don't Miss!", but this tying demonstration really is.  All of our At The Bench demonstrations are free so just swing by the shop.

August 3rd - Saltwater Cutthroat Clinic

The Olympic Peninsula is well known for our river fishing but the Peninsula is surrounded by saltwater.  This beach fishing clinic will focus on the native sea-run cutthroat that feed along the beaches and how, where, and when to fish for them.

August 10th - Fly Fishing 101 

This half-day course at a local pond will give you a head start in learning how to fly fish as well as a shot at hooking some fish.  This class is a great way to introduce a friend or significant other to fly fishing.

August 18th - Spey Class

Curt will be teaching this class on the West End rivers.  Spey casting has many benefits for steelhead and salmon fishing.  With lighter spey and switch rods, using two handed rods for trout has gained in popularity in recent years too.  This class is geared for all levels of spey casters, from beginners to experts.
