Waters West Fly Fishing
Outfitters
Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

We here at Waters West have worked hard to be good this past year. We've pinched our barbs and carefully released all our wild fish. Hopefully you agree because we have a long list we'd like for Christmas.

Dave is looking for toys to start using right away for winter steelhead season.  First is a new Sage One 8136 for throwing big flies and tips into the swollen winter flows.  He is also excited to try out Rio's new iFlight Skagit Head with his new rod.  Dave's been tying a bunch of tube flies lately.  The Wheatley Malvern Tube Fly Box is just the ticket for holding all those tube flies.

Curt is also looking for some winter time gear.  Our recent cold weather has all of us scrambling to stay warm.  Curt wants to be able to stay warm while wading the coldest winter flows.  The Woolpower Arctic socks will fit perfectly in his stocking and keep his feet toasty all winter.  The Simms Coldweather Pants are also on his list to make sure he stays warm on his guide trips.  For fishing some of the smaller waters when the big rivers are too high, Curt has been eyeing a new Echo3 7 wt. Switch Rod which will make swinging and nymphing small waters much easier.

Sean is looking for a Winston Boron IIx 7/8 Spey Rod leaned up against the tree.  He's looking to swing up a bunch of wild fish in the new year and that rod will help.  The Simms G3 Waders are a classic and his old one's have run into too much Devil's Club and Blackberry brambles this past summer.  Speaking of swinging, flies tied on the Alec Jackson Steelhead Irons look spectacular and a 25 pack is a perfect stocking stuffer.

Chris is usually thinking about saltwater fishing no matter what time of year it is.  First on his list is an 8 wt Echo3 Saltwater Fly Rod matched with a Lamson Speedster. He is also has been eyeing some of the new synthetics to tie flies that will tempt the hungry schools of pink and coho salmon that will soon be migrating down the Strait. He's been drooling over all the new colors of Steve Farrar's Flash Blend.

Of course we wouldn't want you to forget Bella.  She's always looking for treats and could always use a new ball to chase.

We hope these gifts will fit down the chimney. If not you can purchase them at www.waterswest.com and have them delivered just in time. We won't forget your milk and cookies and the carrots for your reindeer.

Merry Christmas,

Dave, Curt, Sean, Chris, and Bella

We wish you a happy and healthy Holiday Season.

Tight Lines,
