Rob Andrews to join agency January 6, 2014 
The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Andrews as its new President, effective January 6, 2014. Most recently the Chief Executive, Global Water at AECOM, the world's leading engineering and design group, Mr. Andrews is a very capable leader who brings with him many years of international water-related business experience.

2013 event draws over 230 attendees from the water sector 
The third annual OCWA Technology Showcase took place Wednesday, December 4 at the Hilton Toronto Airport and welcomed over 230 guests. Attendees enjoyed a day full of presentations from various speakers, including hearing from municipalities about successfully implementing innovative technology into their facilities and also visited with over 30 technology companies showcasing their products and services.

OCWA Raises Over $50,000 for GlobalMedic
2013 fundraising campaign surpasses goal
OCWA staff and supporters helped raise $54,000 this year for GlobalMedic, a Canadian charity that provides emergency relief to disaster areas around the world. This brings OCWA's total fundraising dollars to over $100,000 since we began our campaign in 2012. 

Staff organized a variety of events throughout the year including BBQs, runs/walks, office challenges, golf tournaments and to cap off the year, our annual fundraising dinner, held at the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel, with special  
guest speaker, CityNews Anchor, Gord Martineau. Thank you to everyone who supported OCWA in our fundraising efforts and who gave generously to GlobalMedic. For more information and to make a donation, please visit www.globalmedic.ca
