OCWA Engineering Team Expands OCWA is pleased to announce the hiring of two new engineering team leads. Hank Andres, B.Sc.Eng., P.Eng. joins OCWA as Senior Project Manager, Capital and Execution Projects, while Sonya Semanuik, B.Sc., P.Eng. joins OCWA as Senior Project Manager, Studies and Condition Assessments. Hank has over 11 years experience in the water and wastewater engineering field with a focus on process modeling and simulation and process optimization of both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment systems throughout Canada and the US. Sonya has 15 years experience in the condition assessment of horizontal assets for clients in Canada, US, Mexico and Brazil, in particular for concrete and metallic pipelines.

City of Waterloo to Move Ahead with Water ProjectsThe City of Waterloo council recently approved moving forward with upgrades to the Colonial sanitary pumping station. The city's two-year project will include upgrades to reduce the risk of future overflow and raw sewage discharge into Colonial Creek and the Grand River.More (courtesy Water Canada)

Cliff Jones, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Engineering was part of the closing session at WATEC in Israel discussing partnerships in innovation.
