OCWA's Wastewater Regulation Seminars
OCWA is holding a series of seminars to help you make sense of the new federal wastewater regulations now in effect. Click here for locations.
Another World Water Day has now come and gone. The theme for 2013 was "Water Cooperation." I can't help thinking how fitting this was for OCWA. In fact, we marked World Water Day alongside an organization that we are delighted to be "cooperating" with for a second year.
On March 22nd, OCWA and GlobalMedic volunteers spent the day drilling Rainfresh buckets for people in need around the world (see OCWA in the Community feature below).
We are also pleased to be "cooperating" with the Clean Water Foundation to launch our "Prescription for Clean Water" pharmaceutical take-back program, aimed at keeping prescription drugs out of wastewater. The program will officially launch April 12th at the Green Living Show in Toronto (drop by!), but look for full details in the next issue of Waterline.
We were proud to celebrate World Water Day by helping provide clean water to those in need around the world, and we are equally proud of our ability to provide clean, safe water to the people of Ontario everyday. Here's to future "cooperation"!
