Welcome to the New Monthly Waterline!
Welcome to 2013! With this new year comes a renewed focus and an opportunity to look at some of our current tools and find ways to improve our communication to our valued clients and industry friends. That said, we are pleased to launch our inaugural monthly Waterline, a more current and compact version of our traditional quarterly.
We will continue to provide the same interesting water and wastewater stories and perspectives from OCWA and the industry as you have come to expect over the years - but now on a more regular basis.
We'd love to hear your feedback - what do you think of the format? Is the content helpful? What else would you like to see in this space? We value your opinion - this newsletter was created specifically with you in mind.
We hope you enjoy this new edition of Waterline - feel free to contact the editor directly at [email protected] with your comments and suggestions. Happy New Year from all of us at OCWA! |

OCWA's Role as High-Tech Matchmaker
OCWA 'ecosystem' provides up-and-coming water technology companies with places to test their waresSomeday, in the not-too-distant future, your municipality could have access to portable technology that can deliver definitive results for E. coli testing in a fraction of the time it takes today. And when it comes to testing for pathogens in the water supply, particularly in remote communities, time is a critical factor. This new, high-tech instrument is a made-in-Canada device that's about the size of the printer in your home office. And OCWA is proud to have played a small role in helping Endetec, the company behind this new technology, to arrange a pilot project to test the device in one of the facilities we operate.
