Ethanol Update: Production Down, Refiner Input Unchanged, Stocks Down

EIA Weekly Data: For the latest week of 26-Feb-16, ethanol production was 15.172 billion gallons annualized, down 108 mil gals from the previous week--and with a weekly residual error of 761 mil gals. Refiner input was 13.558 bil gals annualized, unchanged from last week, and the calculated inclusion rate for the 135.996 bil gals of mogas receiving ethanol was 9.97%. About 97% of all mogas (with 140.208 bil gals annualized) did indeed receive ethanol. Ethanol stocks were down 20 mil gals to 953 mil gals.
 
Page 2 has the 2016 year-to-date annualized average of EIA's weekly estimate of U.S. Oxygenate Plant Production of Fuel Ethanol at 15.077 bil gals, that's over 250 mil gals more than last year's average of 14.716 bil gals.
 
Page 3 has OPIS's last Friday 2016 RIN prices all rising a few cents and then falling a little at the beginning of this week. As of yesterday, D6's are trading around 74 cents, D5's 78 cents, and D4's 79 cents.
 
Page 4 has JSA's Nebraska Group 3 ethanol margins up .8 cents last week to 27.7 cents.
