Ethanol Update: Production Up, Refiner Input Up, Stocks Up

EIA Weekly Data: For the latest week of 12-Feb-16, ethanol production was 14.988 billion gallons annualized, up 92 mil gals from the previous week--and with a weekly residual error of 1.003 bil gals. Refiner input was 13.497 bil gals annualized, up 307 mil gals from last week, and the calculated inclusion rate for the 135.197 bil gals of mogas receiving ethanol was 9.98%. About 95.57% of all mogas (with 141.469 bil gals annualized) did indeed receive ethanol. Ethanol stocks were up 11 mil gals to 978 mil gals.
 
Ethanol stocks have reached the highest level ever recorded last week and for 2016 year-to-date have averaged 929 million gallons, up nearly 100 million gallons from last years average of 836 million gallons (see page 2).
 
Page 3 has OPIS's last Friday 2016 RIN prices all continuing to climb a few more cents and falling slightly at the beginning of this week. As of yesterday, D6's are trading around 73 cents, D5's 77 cents, and D4's 78 cents.
 
Page 4 has JSA's Nebraska Group 3 ethanol margins falling .8 cents last week to 25.4 cents and rising this week 1.5 cents to 26.9 cents.
