Ethanol Update: Production Down, Refiner Input Up, Stocks Up

EIA Weekly Data: For the latest week of 22-Jan-16, ethanol production was 14.772 billion gallons annualized, down 338 mil gals from the previous week--and with a weekly residual error of 691 mil gals. Refiner input was 13.297 bil gals annualized, up 138 mil gals from last week, and the calculated inclusion rate for the 133.46 bil gals of mogas receiving ethanol was 9.96%. About 97.1% of all mogas (with 137.441 bil gals annualized) did indeed receive ethanol. Ethanol stocks were down 21 mil gals to 903 mil gals.
 
Page 1 & 2 has the 2016 year-to-date average of EIA's weekly ethanol production annualized at 15.153 bil gals vs the Jan-STEO estimate of 14.906 bil gals.
 
Page 3 has OPIS's last Friday 2016 D5/D6 RIN spread around 5 cents, which as of yesterday increased to 5.5 cents. Yesterdays 2016 D6's are trading around 63 cents, while D4's & D5's are around 69 cents.
 
Page 4 EIA's weekly year-to-date 2016 ethanol production estimates averaging 15.112 bil gals annualized.
