Ethanol Update: Production Down, Refiner Input Up, Stocks Up

EIA Weekly Data: For the latest week of 15-Jan-16, ethanol production was 15.111 billion gallons annualized, down 307 mil gals from the previous week--and with a weekly residual error of 1.167 bil gals. Refiner input was 13.158 bil gals annualized, up 753 mil gals from last week, and the calculated inclusion rate for the 132.03 bil gals of mogas receiving ethanol was 9.97%. About 94.6% of all mogas (with 139.562 bil gals annualized) did indeed receive ethanol. Ethanol stocks were up 25 mil gals to 924 mil gals.
 
Page 3 has OPIS's last Friday 2016 D5/D6 RIN spread around 4 cents, which as of yesterday increased to 5 cents. D6's are trading around 65 cents, while D4's & D5's are around 70 cents.
 
Page 4 has JSA's Nebraska Group 3 ethanol margins rising 4 cents over this past week to 20.7 cents.
