Ethanol Update: Production Down, Refiner Input Up, Stocks Down

EIA Weekly Data: For the latest week of 31-Jul-15, ethanol production was 14.732 billion gallons annualized, down 61 mil gals from the previous week--and with a weekly residual error of 24 mil gals. Refiner Input was 13.95 bil gals annualized, up 107 mil gals from last week, and the calculated inclusion rate for the 139.825 bil gals of MoGas receiving ethanol was 9.98%. About 94.16% of all MoGas (with 148.502 bil gals annualized) did indeed receive ethanol. Ethanol stocks were down 17 mil gals.

 

Page 2 has the 2015 year-to-date average of annualized ethanol production at 14.659 mil gals vs. EIA's STEO forecast of 14.383 mil gals. EIA will release it's August forecast next Tuesday the 11th.

 

Page 3 has OPIS's 2015 Friday RIN prices still declining over the past few weeks, along with most commodity prices.

 

Page 4 has weekly ethanol production data falling for the 4th week in a row.
