New Program Starts Today!

After almost two years of preparation and training, Noble Choices is pleased to launch its recovery program TONIGHT!

From 6:45-8:45 pm and continuing every Wednesday night.

Eric and Angela Tooley (and a great team of volunteers) lead Celebrate Recovery each week. This is a ministry to hurting people. It is made up of regular people who are making the Noble Choice to journey toward wholeness; seeking recovery from and celebrating God's healing of life's hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Trained leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered groups where people can grow. They offer their stories as fellow travelers on the journey to healing.

Hurts, Habits and Hangups

Many people think that recovery is only for those with addictions like alcohol or drugs. This could not be further from the truth. A hurt, habit or hang-up is anything that hinders your walk with God, including:

  • Abandonment
  • Abuse - Physical, Sexual, Emotional
  • Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families.
  • Adultery
  • Alcohol Dependency
  • Anger
  • Anxiety
  • Chemical Dependency
  • Codependency
  • Controlling Personality
  • Depression
  • Divorce
  • Drug Dependency
  • Eating Disorders
  • Fear
  • Food Addictions
  • Gambling
  • Grief
  • Guilt
  • Insecurity
  • Loss of Relationship
  • Nicotine Dependency
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Behavior
  • Overeating
  • Overspending
  • People-Pleasing
  • Perfectionism
  • Pornography
  • Rage
  • Rejection
  • Relationship Addiction
  • Sadness
  • Sexual Addiction
  • Shame
  • Workaholism

6:45 pm - Large Group
Everyone meets together in the large group meeting. It includes the following:

  • praise and worship
  • either a lesson or a testimonial (alternate weeks)
  • a review of the 12 Steps of Celebrate Recovery and their Biblical basis or
  • a review of the Eight Recovery Principles and their Biblical basis
  • a celebration of sobriety milestones (30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 18 months, multiple years) with Celebrate Recovery chips
  • a celebration of surrendering your hurt, habit, or hang-up
  • Serenity prayer

7:45 pm - Open Share (male & female) groups
After the large group meeting everyone is dismissed to groups according to gender to provide those who want to share a confidential and anonymous opportunity to talk about their hurt, habit, or hang-up in a safe place with others that are also going through recovery. These groups do not attempt to offer advice or counseling. We do not attempt to "fix" one another. That is the work of the Holy Spirit. We open the door to change by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems. Together, working the Christ-centered Steps and applying their Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our hurts; our fears; and our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, and-most importantly-a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Participants are encouraged to share, but you are welcome to come and not say anything.

Child care provided.

End-of-Year Giving
Thank you so much to everyone who made an end-of-year donation to Noble Choices. Due to the preparations to launch our Celebrate Recovery program we were unable to send out our usual end-of-year fund raising letter. Yet you gave anyway. Wow. Thank you.

It is not too late to give and we greatly need your help to fund our expanding programs.

We will forever look back on 2014 as the year everything changed!
  • God added pastoral counseling and life coaching to our ministry.
  • God led us to start our own non-profit: Noble Choices.
  • God continued to open doors for our educational programs.
  • God added support groups to our ministry.

We are still very dependent on your support and generosity to take advantage of these opportunities. Will you help us take advantage of this new horizon in our ministry? Your tax-deductible recurring gift (monthly, quarterly, etc.) makes you one of our founding contributors. One-time tax-deductible gifts are a big help as well.

Please go to our secure online giving page and give as much as you are able.

Thank you for joining us in our efforts to help people make Noble Choices!
