Literal Fantasy Leagues

Have you heard the latest sexual trend among teens?

 

A fantasy league. Just like the popular fantasy sports leagues, guys hold a draft. They select their female classmates to make a team for each guy. Once teams are formed, guys earn points by engaging in a sexual activity with a girl on his team.  

 

We should have seen this coming. We progressed from  

  • "if it feels good, do it"
  • to "one-night stands"
  • to "safe sex"
  • to "oral sex is not sex"
  • to "friends with benefits"
  • . . . to a fantasy sex league.

Our culture bombards teenagers with these sexual values that promote a selfish pursuit of pleasure. This undermines relationships and objectifies and degrades people.

 

In my program ""Images or Glory?"  I explain how the Bible predicts this progression in Romans 1.  

"God gave them over . . . to sexual impurity . . . to shameful lusts . . . to a depraved mind. . . . They have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. . . . They not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them."  

 

Did you notice that part about no love? Sex and love get further and further apart until you realize the next step: no mercy. Sounds like a fantasy sex league, huh?

 

When this became public most people shook their head, may even have said "what's this world coming to" but didn't do anything about it. Well I am!  

 

I am doing all I can to tell teens that sexual fulfillment is not found in selfish sexual activity. It is not found in pornography. It is only found through an ULTIMATE ESCAPE from cultural values and through embracing God's truth about sex.

God is exploding my opportunities.  

  

My programs tripled in 2012 and spread across Texas and to Louisiana, Mississippi, Kansas, and Alabama. I am already booked for an Oklahoma program this spring. In its first year my email newsletter grew to almost 2,000 subscribers.  

 

Public school doors are opening as a result of my partnership with Just Say YES to show a multi-screen movie on sexual abstinence. I started a multi-year sexual abstinence program for young adults with intellectual disabilities!  

 

I need your help.  

 

Ultimate Escape does not pay me any wages. I am supported only through speaking fees, resource commissions, and donations.
