RIVER FORKS PARK

It's that time of year again! Come enjoy Hall County Parks and Leisure's camper's delight on beautiful Lake Lanier! We have a 40,000 square foot beach area, 63 campsites with electric and water hook-ups, and many pavilion areas where you can sit and enjoy the Fall colors of Lake Lanier!

River Forks Park is located at 3500 Keith Bridge Road off Highway 369 in Gainesville.

RATES:

RV Sites: $30 ($20 seniors 55+)

Tent Sites: $20

Small Pavilion: $50 in county ($75 out of county)

Large Pavilion: $100 in county ($125 out of county)

Multi-Purpose Building: $100 1/2 day, $200 full day

NEW OPPORTUNITIES

LOW IMPACT ZUMBA

This ZUMBA class is a low impact alternative for those who would like to get into shape! The program focuses on cardiovascular elements, muscular conditioning, flexibility, and balance.

HOWL-O-WEEN

The 2014 Howl-O-Ween pet costume contest and pet parade will be held Sunday, October 26th at the Laurel Park Bark Park from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. This will be an evening to remember with your four legged friends!

Participate in the costume contest in the categories of scariest, funniest, cutest, best owner/pet look-alike, and best overall, and/or be a part of the 1 mile fun run/pet parade. There will be prizes and lots of fun games for all to enjoy!

This event benefits the Hall County Animal Shelter. Entrance to the contest and pet parade is FREE while monetary or in-kind donations such as newspapers or paper towels are greatly appreciated.

NRA EDDIE EAGLE SAFETY AWARENESS

First Monday of each month at 6:00pm. 30 minute class. Each participant receives coloring book, sticker, and adult gun awareness booklet.

Cedar Creek Range and Gun Shop's State, NRA, and US Navy Certified firearms instructor, Rodney "Chief" Smith will be hosting a FREE NRA Eddie Eagle gun awareness and safety training class. The class helps to enhance both children and adult's recognition of what to do when a gun is withing sight and reach.

Held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. *FREE* This month's class will be Tuesday, October 21st from 11:00am - 1:00pm. This program is part of the Active Generation program at North Hall Community Center. Best Buy of Gainesville will be on site to answer your technology questions. Please bring lunch or snacks, your laptop or other electronics, and questions!

CARDS AND DOMINOS

Tuesdays from 7:00 - 9:00pm. Program is FREE for North Hall Community Center Members and only $1 for non-members. Active Generation members can come out to socialize and play cards in the North Hall Community Center game room.

GET CREATIVE ART CLASS
