Help Hall County design a new logo
Hall County is asking for community input on the design for a County logo. A survey is available on the County's website, hallcounty.org, which asks residents for their opinion as to what color scheme should be used, what images should be included, and other general questions regarding the logo's overall design.
The survey also offers citizens an opportunity to submit their own logo designs and any ideas they may have regarding a new slogan for Hall County. Read more here. |

Tax Commissioner's Office adds information table to help citizens
A new information table has been added to the lobby of the Hall County Tax Commissioner's Office to provide support to citizens doing business there. When citizens walk into the office, a friendly staff person is there to greet them and help make sure they have all of the required materials they need before waiting in line to speak with an associate of the Tax Commissioner's Office. The associate manning the information table can also help answer any questions about transactions, direct citizens to the appropriate place to conduct their County business or provide them with paperwork they may need.
According to Hall County Tax Commissioner Darla Eden, the addition of the information table is one of many steps she hopes to implement in the near future to provide better service to taxpayers.
As a reminder, the Hall County Tax Commissioner's Office is now located on the first floor of the Hall County Government Center, located at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville. |

Hall County Fire Marshal offers tips on fireworks safety
The Hall County Fire Marshal's Office is reminding the public to leave the fireworks to the ''pros'' this Independence Day. Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle says, ''There will be plenty of opportunities to watch professional shows instead of putting children and others at risk with personal fireworks.''
Some fireworks are legal in Georgia, primarily those that emit sparkles and not the aerial type nor the exploding type commonly known as fire crackers. If you have to go to another state to buy them, that's a pretty good indication that they are illegal in Georgia.
