commission room

The Hall County Board of Commissioners will hold their first county commission meeting at the new facility on Browns Bridge Road at 6 p.m. on Nov. 8.  The commission meeting room, which is housed on the second floor of the new building, will seat 332 people.  The room is outfitted with flat-screen monitors that will show speakers and close-ups of documents presented during meetings. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the walls of the commission's meeting space, giving visitors a clear view of the building's 33-acre tree-filled property.  If the commission room is filled to capacity, an overflow room has been designated in the fourth floor cafeteria space, which includes a widescreen television to broadcast the proceedings in the meeting room as they happen live.   The Hall County Government Center is located at 2875 Browns Bridge Road near the corner of McEver Road.  The Hall County Board of Tax Assessors held their first meeting in the new facility on Oct. 17.
