Our Lives Are a Gift to Others. Feast of the Holy Family.
This Sunday we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family. Family life is important and making a holy family is our calling and our reminder this week.
Better than any Christmas present, when we give our lives to God, our lives become a gift to our family, to our friends, and to our community. Join us for Mass this Sunday to hear more, 5:00 pm Saturday or Sunday 9:00 am or 11:00 am.
A Special Advent Story
This December, three friends and 1st grade classmates at Our Lady of Peace Catholic School became Santa's little helpers. Instead of the traditional birthday party with lots of wrapped up presents, they asked their friends to bring a toy for the Toys for Tots campaign. Together, these three friends, with the help of their moms, drove through a rain filled evening and delivered the gifts to the Kare 11 Toys for Tots Drive. Besides the thrill of knowing that they were spreading the joy of Christmas, one of the three had one of his wishes granted.... to meet a real weatherman!
A New Gym Logo
Everyone who comes to our gym this winter will be welcomed by a new logo put up in the gym while the kids were enjoying a Christmas break.
Our Lady of Peace Athletics will host 10 home games in January in Eagles Gym. Feel free to join us to cheer on the Eagles!
Grown men like to play just like kids (just slower and more carefully). Men interested in playing on Wednesday night at 8:00 pm January through March should email Joe.
