| Morning Drop-off | |
Morning Drop Off in front of the school is becoming quite dangerous Parents, please have your child/ren cross at the corners with the patrols and not in the middle of the street when you are not dropping off on the school side of the street. Walking your child/ren across the middle of the street is not safe either and is not teaching students correct ways of safety in crossing. The teachers and I are very serious about keeping everyone safe and need your cooperation in this. |

Thanksgiving Food Drive
The 7th Grade students organized the Thanksgiving food drive this year. And what a service project! During all-school-mass students, parishioners and families brought in non-perishable foods for the Franciscan Brotherhood.
The drive began with an idea in 7th grade to make this food-drive bigger than ever. They delivered grocery bags to neighborhood houses asking community members to help fill the bags and be ready for collection this weeks. Parents and students collected the filled bags this week and got all 350 bags ready to donate.
It was a phenomenal job - well done 7th Grade! |

Stuff the Stocking
During the season of Advent, we are again partnering with Nuestros Pequenos Heromanos, who care for abandoned and orphaned children in Central and South America (www.nph.org), to provide each child there with a Christmas stocking full of treats.
Here's how you can help:
1. On November 29th, each family will be given a stocking shaped flyer describing the project.
2. Purchase, make, or reuse a stocking about the size of the flyer. (For ease of packaging - the thinner - the better. Please no thick fur or embellishments. The stocking should lie flat).
3. Place your monetary contribution in an envelope and put it in the stocking.
- $1 buys a toothbrush
- $2 buys a toothbrush and a pair of socks
- $3 buys a toothbrush, pair of socks, and a toy
- $5 buys a toothbrush, pair of socks, a toy, and cookies & candy
4. Return the stocking to OLP by Dec. 7th with the flyer attached.
Thank you in advance for your support!
