Seeing the Light in the Philippines

Filipino Lynn Pinugu featured in "Lights of the World"

An award-winning leader in social enterprise, former missionary, and
co-founder and executive director of Mano Amiga Academy in the Philippines, Lynn Pinugu has dedicated much of her life to answering God's call to serve.

Her inspirational story including her untiring work to help her Filipino people in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan is our featured Lights of the World profile.

The aftermath: Medicines needed in the Philippines

Missionaries have just returned from the Island of Leyte, thearea hardest hit by Typhoon Haiyan. Our next project is to re-stock hospitals in the Philippines with urgently-needed medicines and supplies to replace those washed away in the disaster of Typhoon Haiyan. We need your help!

Upcoming Campaign: Hand of an Angel needed!

More classrooms needed now for Mano Amiga schools!

Middle School children in an impoverished town in Mexico may lose their chance to stay in school due to lack of classroom space. Can you help? Look for our upcoming "Hand of an Angel" campaign to help us round-up the resources needed to give these children a chance to build their future. Please don't let the progress go to waste!

Donations to Catholic World Mission alleviate suffering while bearing fruit for generations to come. We scrupulously target our efforts, supporting projects with practical applications to help people in need use their God-given talents to become the self-sufficient, dignified children of God they were created to be. Every donation, large or small, is put to the best use possible, planting seeds of hope while unveiling the face of God to the world's most needy.

P.S. We consider it a privilege and a blessing to pray for your intentions. Please send us your prayer intentions.
