Congratulations to
Dr. Redlin
Dr. Meredith Redlin was awarded an Erasmus Mundus fellowship to teach at the University of Trento in Italy for the month of February. Her students were enrolled in the Joint European Master of Local Development - CoDe program, sponsored by the University of Trento (Italy), the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary) and the University of Regensburg (Germany). She was invited to teach a core course in Social Diversity and Local Community Development. The students were from all over the world, including the nations of Cambodia, Egypt, the Philippines, Slovakia, Montenegro, Ukraine, Mexico, Ethiopia, Columbia, Greece, Estonia, Hungary, and Paraguay. Dr. Redlin really enjoyed the class diversity and dynamic. "The course focused on development initiatives in cultural contexts, so the diversity of the students was a major advantage," she noted. "The best part was seeing them develop place-based action plans for community change in their home cultures. I know I learned as much they did!"
