OFFICE CLOSURE
 

The offices of the RAC and CRMB will be closed on December 24 and 25 in recognition of Christmas.

DELIVERIES TO HANDLERS
 

For the period of November 24 through 30, 2013: 

 

38,395 tons of Natural (sun-dried) Seedless (NS) raisins were delivered to handlers.

 

37,289 tons of all varietal types were delivered.

 

20,218 tons of all varietal types were delivered for the same period last year.

 

239,252 tons of NS raisins have been delivered for the year-to-date. This compares to 229,846 tons of NS deliveries as of this date a year ago.

 

270,579 of all varietal types have been delivered ytd, compared to 258,727 tons in 2012-2013.

 

10,690 tons of the NS deliveries for 2013-14 crop year are organic.

 

26,743 tons of NS are held on memo storage.

 

8,327 tons of NS are held for reconditioning.

RBA ANNOUNCES FIELD PRICE AGREEMENT

 

The Raisin Bargaining Association announced on November 22, that is had reached an agreement with its signatory packers on the 2013-2014 Natural Seedless raisin harvest announced field price of $1,650 per ton.
