November 2, 2012 Hello Friends,
This week has been busy for many of you as you have rushed around for all kinds of Fall events, including Halloween happenings, and pumpkin play dates. At the RSM site we had the fantastic "Trunk or Treat" event. It was a smashing success and gave us an opportunity to reach out to the children of our preschools and community. Thank you to everyone who pitched in! And a big thank you to Vicki Faivre who headed up the talented group!
This week is also the week that we as believers honor and celebrate those who have passed on during the year and in the past. It is known as All Saints Day. This is a day that is deeply moving and we hope that you will not miss the opportunity to thank God for those who have gone before. In church this week we are finishing up our series on Pneuma with a discussion on how we witness to who the Holy Spirit is to those around us. How do our lives display the work of the Holy Spirit? You will want to be here this week as we hear from our church's inspirational leaders at each site! If this series on the work of the Holy Spirit has caused you to ask "What are my spiritual gifts?", then we have got a class for you this Sunday at the Mission Viejo campus. From 1-5 pm Jan Newton will be leading a class on our GIFTS and how we use them. Register by e-mailing her at Jan.newton10@yahoo.com. This is a great class for anyone!!! I took the Strengthfinder and Disc test, and it really helped me learn more about myself and how God has made me!
