September 27, 2012  Greetings Friends, Last week we looked at how God's grace justifies us before the Lord through Jesus. It is a mind blowing concept and takes years to grasp--if not a lifetime. This week we are looking at another difficult to grasp concept, the fact that Jesus meets us where we are, and doesn't leave us there. God is always working to bring about our growth. This kind of grace always sees potential. See how even after we have become engaged in our relationship with Jesus we still have places where we are stretched. We are always being introduced to who Jesus really is in our lives and the lives of those around us. So "Hi from Greece" and looking forward to seeing all of you soon! Join Pastor Craig for seven Tuesday evenings as we explore exactly how to practice the Seven Grace Disciplines of Shepherd of the Hills. Each week's session will be a hands-on workshop to start implementing the practices of Celebration, Devotion, Development, Tithing, Sharing, Serving & Sabbath. Join us this Sunday at the RSM campus after the 11 a.m. worship as we stand up to cancer through prayer. We will be praying for those with cancer, those supporting loved ones in the battle, and anyone who has had cancer affect their lives. Join us as we pray for joy, peace and power in the fight against this disease!

Glean for Second Harvest
We will glean a field on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 3:15 to 4:30 pm in Irvine. Food goes to Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County for families in need. We'll meet at the MV campus at 2:45 to caravan to the field. Parents, kids and youth are invited. Grummage Sale

We're getting ready for the annual Grummage sale, and will be accepting your clean and in-good-condition items beginning this Sunday through Thursday, October 4 (Please bring them to the MV Campus Youth Lounge). Proceeds will support the General Fund for the church.
