Change the World Weekend
THIS WEEKEND, May 18-19
Change the World Weekend is an annual event in which United Methodists make a global impact by focusing on mission and engaging in acts that show God's love for the world. The denomination-wide event engages in mission locally and globally, to make change noticeable.
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Youth Yard Sale and to those who donated to the cause. We are very grateful for your generous support.
Grace Offering for Lent/Easter
Through May 26, we are receiving a Grace Offering. God has poured out so much grace upon us; we have the opportunity to share grace with others. The offering will be shared in three ways:
1. VA Conference Offering for Children: to support projects and ministries in Brazil, Cambodia, Mozambique, and Virginia. For more details on the projects, click here.
2. World Service Fund
3. CCUMC Youth Summer Mission Trips 2013 to West Virginia and the Bahamas.
Envelopes are available in the Narthex and Steeple entrances. To write a check, please make it out to CCUMC and put "Grace Offering" on the memo line. Thank you to those who have donated.
