empty beach chairs Whoa, the summer has FLOWN on by! We have been extremely busy with Farmer's Markets and also food demos at many new stores that have been added to the Extravagonzo family. There's been many, many miles logged. Great fun!

We're getting back to sending the News and we have some very simple, easy ideas for using Extravagonzo to enhance both your cooking and your eating pleasure.

Yes, it IS watermelon season! Try chunking up your watermelon and drizzling some of the Blood Orange oil over it. Yummmmy! This actually works well with all fruits and fruit salads.

Cocktail Hour?
Now this is an idea brought to me by one of my friends who loves Cocktail with shaker Extravagonzo in and on anything. Try adding a tablespoon of either the Meyer Lemon or Blood Orange oil to the ice shaker for ANY drink you are making. It is a nice touch in Tequila Sunrises or any other mixed drink where a bit of citrus will make them very unique. Try the Red Chili in a Blood Mary -- a nice zip to an already zippy drink!

Give your burgers a huge lift by simply drizzling some of the Roasted Garlic or Red Chili oil on the bun, and/or over the burger. You'll be amazed at how it makes your taste buds jump.

Corn-on-the-Cob

Oh, Lordie, have you drizzled ANY of the oils on your corn-on-the-cob yet?! Use it just like butter -- when the corn is done, drizzle and crack some pepper and sea salt, holy WOW! A whole new corn era for you!!

And of course, just drizzle a bit of the balsamic and orange (or any flavor) oil on your salads for a simple, spectacular taste treat. It doesn't take much.
