Did you know that the typical diet of an American is responsible for almost nine TONS of carbon emissions each year? In particular, beef creates a far larger carbon footprint than grains and veggies...11 times larger to be exact! By simply eating just one vegetarian meal per week, or even going a step further and participating in something like Meatless Mondays, you could save the equivalent of driving 1,160 miles!
