2016-2017 PTA Executive Board Slate (Auditor Help Needed!)
Thank you to all of the wonderful parents who have volunteered to serve on our PTA Executive Board next year! And thanks to our Nominating Committee for facilitating the process: Katie Driscoll, Kate Pennino, Michele Graeler, Kristin Gentry and JJ Corr.
Listed below are the board positions and the nominees who have stepped up to fill them. This slate will be voted upon at our PTA General Meeting on Thursday, 3/17 at 8:15am. Please plan to attend and cast your vote!
AUDITOR WANTED! If you've got a financial background and a few hours to spare a few times a year, please consider stepping up for our Auditor position! You'll notice below that we have two positions that are still open--Executive VP and Auditor. (These are appointed positions that do not require a vote for approval.) It is especially important that we find an Auditor ASAP. If we don't find someone we'll need to hire and pay someone with our precious PTA dollars--and we don't want to do that! The Auditor's responsibilities include conducting an audit of our financial records 3x/year (6/30, 12/31 and 2/28), determining the accuracy of the books and records of the financial officers, verifying that funds have been transferred through appropriate channels, and submitting the audit report to the membership for their review. Time commitment is 5-6 hours at each of the 3 audit periods.
