Inspiring the love of reading- our librarians.
|
I still remember my elementary librarian. She is the person who ignited my love of literature- through her many different reading voices, knowledge of all the books in the library, and my interests. Too many school districts have phased out librarians. It's sad because librarians read to our students, help them navigate the library, support online research and computer usage ... Fortunately, your MBEF donation ensures that MBUSD students will always have librarians to offer guidance, support and inspiration. Please Give Now. Mbef.org/givetoday

Online School Directory - Up and Running!
|
Last Friday, November 6th, most of you should have received an e-mail from Directory Spot with instructions on how to download the app, create your login, and verify your contact information.
The app contains parent names, home phone, home address, parent email addresses and student names, grade levels and teachers. It is very secure and only parents and staff of Meadows have access to the information.
If you would like to "opt out" of the app and NOT have your family information included, please send an email to Alex Murphy. The data and users in the app can be updated at anytime throughout the year, so you can always opt out or opt back in later.
Be sure to check out the Sponsors section to see the great local businesses who support Meadows!

Parent Party Committee needs your help!
|

It takes a village and we need YOUR help!
The parent party is Meadows biggest fundraiser of the year. Ticket sales help cover the cost of the venue, entertainment & food but what helps our school the most financially is the auction. We're looking for help securing donations and we need your help! Does your neighbor own a restaurant? Does your BFF's husband own a hotel? Does your aunt have connections that could contribute sports equipment, women's beauty services, wine/liquor? What about vacation homes? Season tickets to sporting or concert events? Access to walk on roles/tickets/meeting stars in the entertainment industry? Any kid-friendly items like camps, tutoring or party packages? We're accepting ANY big ticket items! Or even small ticket items we can package into something big? And donations are tax deductible! Businesses donating will also get mentions in Parent Party marketing, the weekly parent newsletters and at the event.
Thanks in advance for your help and support!
