Last Chance to help earn your teacher $100 in the Meadows PTA Membership Classroom Contest -  Membership Forms due Friday, 10/16!

Thank you Meadows families for all of your support in our PTA Membership drive so far; it's families like you who help make Meadows such a great school for our kids! Last year we had 96% of Meadows families join the PTA (wow!). We are currently at 73% of Meadows families, which is nothing to sneeze at, but we can do better!

So, if you haven't joined the PTA yet, please consider joining and donating at the amount that's right for you. Every classroom that reaches 100% PTA participation will earn $100 in classroom supplies for their teacher! The classroom contest ends this Friday, 10/16 so join now, online or with this paper form!

Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk, October 25th
If you've already signed up for the SKECHERS Pier to Pier Walk on October 25th, thank you! If you have not, please, please take a moment to sign up now!

NEW! All students who sign up will receive a SKORR card.  Plus, students who sign up, participate in the walk and are in running club will also receive 25 laps!

Let's go Mustangs - so far we have 14 walkers and have raised $500. Last year, we had 62 walkers and raised $1700. This year we hope to have at least 70 walkers and raise over $2K!!!

Top five reasons why you should sign up:
  • Last year, for every $25 registration fee that was designated to MBEF, SKECHERS gave our schools $150 - for a total of $100,000.
  • YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO WALK! We understand you may not be able to participate, and that's okay too - sign up on our school's team and consider it a $25 donation to our schools for a $150 return!
  • Two Manhattan Beach participants will be picked at random to receive free tickets to the Wine Auction and...
  • It's going to be so fun! Visit booths for the Clippers (special performance by the Clippers Dance Team), Dodgers, Angels, and Kings. Take photos with the Ninja Turtles, sports personalities, and Star Wars characters. Stop by the Kids Fun Zone, the LA Kings Ice Truck, Nickelodeon Photo Booth, Aerojet rocket building booth, and MUCH more! There will be tons of free giveaways!
  • Earn a SKORR card and 25 laps for running club!
Most importantly, you will be supporting two excellent causes - Manhattan Beach public schools and the Friendship Circle.

Click here to join the Meadows team. Please don't forget to designate MBEF as your charity so your donation supports MB schools (and not to worry, The Friendship Circle will receive significant support from SKECHERS as well).

Look forward to seeing you there. Thank you for supporting our schools!
